Overview

This private tour includes main entrance tickets to sites, lunch at a local restaurant, and also a camel ride in Giza.

Pick up from your hotel in Cairo then visit Sakkara where you will see the Step Pyramid of Djoser which is considered as the first pyramid ever built plus being the oldest stone structure worldwide.

Afterward, we will move on to Memphis- an ancient kingdom's capital city and one of the most significant cities throughout all periods of history in old Egypt.

Here we shall be visiting mostly open-air Memphis Museum so as to have a look at Ramses II’s fallen statue among others before having our meal break at some nearby eatery joint prior proceeding towards Giza for more touring activities including camel riding.

The next place to visit will be the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren, and Mycerinus, and finally see the mysterious Sphinx.

After this tour ends, get ready for a transfer back to your hotel.

What To Expect

Saqqara (Sakkara)

The ride down to Sakkara takes place south of Cairo; it was here that the great necropolis of Memphis, the Old Capital of Egypt, developed around the most ancient pyramid known in all Egypt. Here can be visited the stepping pyramid built by Zoser and generally considered to be the first pyramid ever built as well as being the oldest stone building extant. The plan also has provisions for visiting Imhotep Museum and Mereruka and Kagemni tombs.

Memphis

We traveled to Memphis, the capital of the ancient Egyptian kingdom and one of the most important cities in ancient Egyptian history. There, we visited the mostly open-air Memphis Museum and saw the collapsed statue of Ramses II.

We traveled to Giza and first visited the pyramids along the camel trail. Afterwards, we toured the Giza pyramid complex, including the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkaure, and the mysterious Sphinx.
