What To Expect

Giza Pyramids

An Egyptologist guide will pick you up from the spot and take you right away for an exploration of Cairo, beginning with a visit to the Great Pyramids of Giza. The inside of the Great Pyramid of Khufu can be viewed (kindly note that viewing the inside of the pyramids requires special tickets). This is not all; there is much more to this complex. The touring comes next in the surrounding areas at the Valley temple of Khafre, where his royal body was received and built for King Khafre's mummification process. Just before ending your day tour, you will have an up-close look at the great Sphinx who has ever guarded the Pyramids with a lion's body and King Khafre's head.

Of the original seven wonders of the ancient world, only the Great Pyramid of Khufu remains. It was the tallest building on Earth for more than 3,800 years. There is also a valley temple as part of this complex, which presently lies beneath the modern village of Nazlet el-Samman. Apart from some diabase paving and nummulitic limestone walls that have been found there has been no further excavation work carried out so far. You will be able to discover all accessible areas under our Egyptologist's guidance. Please note that entering inside the pyramid requires a separate ticket.
